On Friday, June 8, 2012, the faculty and staff at New Bridge Middle School bid a fond farewell to our class of 172 8th graders. The farewell actually began on the prior evening at the annual 8th Grade Reception. Students and families gathered in the cafeteria for a ceremony commemorating the 2011-12 school year.
On the last day of school (6/7/12), all grade levels gathered in the pre-field area for the annual Block Party. Our 8th graders had one final time to sign yearbooks, eat together, dance, laugh and cry. As the music played, the 8th graders said their goodbyes.
With the 2011-12 school year complete, our 8th graders move on to become Wildcats (RHS), Cardinals (JHS), Bulldogs (DHS), Stallions (SWHS), Monarchs (NHS), Pirates (SHS) and Vikings (WOHS) at area high schools. A few students are leaving the area. Regardless of the destination, the administration, faculty, and staff wish our 8th graders the best in all future endeavors. Godspeed… and remember, at New Bridge Middle School, Bears have PRIDE!
