At this year’s event, two very deserving young men from New Bridge Middle School were in attendance: Mr. Robby Riggs and Mr. Cameron Jones. Cameron was selected as a 2nd-Team Scholastic All-American. Both of these young men play football for Jacksonville Storm of the Eastern NC League in the Pop Warner Mid-South Region.

Over the course of the weekend, both Robby and Cameron were able to tour the city of Boston which included events like taking in a Red Sox baseball game at historic Fenway Park, touring Quincy Market and the Boston Harbor, as well as enjoying the cities fine cuisine that included items like clam chowder or as the locals call it...”chowdah” and a”Fenway Dog” at the ballpark.

Cameron Jones is the eldest son of Bart and Joy Jones who accompanied Cameron on this prestigious trip. Robby Riggs is the son of Scott and Michele Riggs. Robby and his Dad really enjoyed their “guys’ weekend” in Boston.
