Subjects Taught
Health, Physical Education

I have been teaching physical education/health for 17 years. My first 2 years were in a K-12 program in Huntsville, Al. I also coached the middle school girls basketball team.

The next 2 years I taught in Atlanta, Ga. 6-8 grade. I coached high school volleyball and track at Meadowcreek High School. Along with teaching, I coached the girls middle school basketball team to a championship game.

Currently, I have been teaching at this amazing school going on 13 years. I coach basketball, volleyball, and track. Our girls track team won the county championship in 2011 for the first time in school history. Our girls basketball team won the county championship in 2013, which has not been done in 10 years and lastly our girls volleyball team were the county champs in 2014.

My name is Princess Blunt. I was born and raised in Riverside, California. While attending high school, I lettered in 3 sports, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track.  After graduating I attended Oakwood  University in Huntsville, Al. While pursuing my studies there, I played basketball for 4 years. Playing for the university allowed me to travel all over the world.

I was able to graduated from Oakwood with a BS in Physical Education/Health and a Minor in Physical Therapy. I continued my studies at Alabama A&M where I obtained my Masters in Physical Education/Health and worked as an assistant athletic trainer. Here I was able to work with the football team for 3 years. After completing my Masters I had the opportunity to work for the Vipers (arena football team) for a year before deciding to teach full time.
